Drop Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Stir in butter and milk just until moistened. Drop batter on a lightly greased cookie sheet by the tablespoon.
- Bake in preheated oven until golden on the edges, about 10 minutes. Serve warm.
Pumpkin Pillows Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup raisins (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine dry ingredients, mix with a fork. Add 'wet' ingredients.
- With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended.
- Increase speed to medium for 1 minute.
- Place spoonfuls on cookie sheet
- Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 18-20 minutes.
